Today is National Epilepsy Awareness Day!

The City of Luling and Caldwell County first responder agencies will be on our campuses today starting at 4pm. We are ensuring safety by building partnerships and familiarizing them with our layouts. Working together for a secure learning environment.

March is National Cerebral Palsy (CP) Awareness Month AND March 25th is National CP Awareness DAY!
We honor and recognize the strength, resilience, and achievements of individuals living with CP, as well as their families, caregivers, and advocates.
Let's spread awareness, foster understanding, and show support for the CP community! Together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to thrive and participate fully in society.

On March 6th, the LHS Eagle Band earned its 18th Sweepstakes in a row at the UIL Concert and Sight Reading evaluation at Canyon Lake High School! Your Eagles played a challenging program and soared to superior ratings on stage and in sight reading.
On March 7th, the Gerdes JH Band also brought home new hardware by earning superior ratings from all 6 judges in concert and sight reading! These students have shown tremendous growth over the course of the school year and are a shining example of what can be achieved through dedication and focus.
The band directors, Nathan Rolfe and Adam Garcia, are proud of the continued effort the students give on a daily basis and are excited to see what the future holds for the Luling Eagle Band. They would also like to thank the Luling administration and Band Boosters for the wonderful support they continue to show. The band could not be this great without their unwavering support.






Texas State Baseball is hosting Luling ISD on March 17th at 1pm!! Every student and staff member gets a free ticket and each additional ticket is only $5!! Come out and support both teams! It's Sunday Funday with face painting, post-game autographs, and running of the bases for the kids!! What a great way to wrap up Spring Break.

Join us in promoting the importance of a nutritious breakfast for every child. Our cafeterias have a special breakfast menu each morning this week!



CTE Month Highlights...Automotive Service with Mr.Smith!
In the Automotive Service Program of study, students begin by learning the process and parts of a small engine. They will identify common engine problems and make repairs using industry standard equipment and tools. In the advanced courses, students spend time in class learning rigorous content about the components of the modern vehicle as well as in the lab performing service tasks on customer cars. The goal is for students to earn their Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. A nationally recognized certificate of a master service technician
3rd and 4th year students will have the opportunity to work in a local automotive service center as part of the program. They will work on diesel and gasoline vehicles, diagnosing and making repairs in the real world of an automotive repair center. If you are serious about making automotive service a career choice this program is for you.
