Luling ISD is proud to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month!
From September 15 - October 15, we recognize the rich culture and traditions of our Hispanic community and celebrate the many contributions of our students, staff, and families.
Happy Hispanic Heritage Month!

We remember the innocent lives taken far too soon and the first responders who ran toward danger to help others. We also remember the strength and unity our country showed in the days that followed.
May we never forget the lives lost and the courage shown that day. 🇺🇸

A big thank you to Marion ISD for the invitation and the opportunity to learn alongside and collaborate with educators from neighboring districts. There’s so much value in sharing ideas and learning from one another!
One Team. All In.

Some of our advanced cosmetology students were offered a wonderful opportunity yesterday! From exploring professional products and tools, to learning about the latest trends and discovering what it takes to build a successful career in cosmetology, this field trip was all about experience, exposure, and empowerment.

LHS is so proud to be partnering with Tarleton State University this year to expand our dual enrollment opportunities to the majority of our students! We are truly committed to setting our students up for success, not just for now, but in their futures after high school as well #oneteamallin

Thank you to our incredible staff for making today look easy, and to our Board of Trustees for pitching in this morning (and bringing the donuts 🍩 for everyone).
That's how Luling ISD does it! One Team. All In.

Here are a few reminders before you head out the door tomorrow:
🍎 FREE breakfast and lunch will be provided to all Luling ISD students every day this school year.

Happy SATurday! The SAT is one test that students can use to show college readiness. Students can also use SAT scores on college applications. Speaking of college applications, each year ApplyTexas and Texas public universities work together to provide a full week where students can apply to undergraduate programs completely free! This year, the Free College Application Week is October 12-18, 2026.
If a student would like to retake the SAT to use new scores during Free College Application Week, the deadline to register for that SAT retake is coming up very, very soon. The registration deadline is in about 2 weeks! If students or parents have questions about previous scores, or need assistance registering for the SAT, they are encouraged to reach out to the campus counselor. We will share more reminders about Free College Application Week in the future!
