Dear LHS Students and Families:
Student schedules for the upcoming school year will go live online through Ascender - Parent and Student Portal at noon on Tuesday, August 3rd. Students are encouraged to review his/her schedule closely. Students will have the opportunity to request a schedule change by visiting his/her counselor on Thursday, August 5th or Friday, August 6th, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Schedules will be changed only for the following reasons:
· sequence of course is out of order
· incomplete schedule (missing a class/period)
· a summer school course has been passed
· an academic switch to/from Honors, AP, dual credit, or OnRamps
(To enroll in an Advance Course, a student may have to meet certain requirements)
Please note that counselors will do their best to accommodate every request, however, in some cases the request may not work with the student’s class schedule.
