My name is Angela Medina and I am excited to be joining the English Language Arts team at Luling High School!
A little bit about me: I am originally from Chicago, born and raised. My parents were both high school teachers for over thirty years, so I like to joke that it is in my DNA to teach.
At 18, I moved to New York City to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy where I completed an Acting conservatory program. I then earned my degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Psychology from The New School University.
I have worked in a few different fields including media, casting, and culinary, but found my way to teaching. I truly love it and can't wait to work with my students.
I have a wonderful husband, Ricardo, and two amazing children, Tiago William (6) and Ziggy Peach (1). I feel fortunate to join the community in Luling and am anticipating a great year!
